What this website is, what it is not, and what it will not claim, each in a sentence of its own.

This website

This is a demonstration website; nothing here is investment advice. Keelwick Planning is a fictional financial planning practice created to show what a planner's own website can look like, and it has no connection with any real firm in Woodside, in Queens or anywhere else; "Woodside" is the house name of a set of demonstration businesses. It is not registered or licensed by any authority, its planners and its clients are invented, nobody will plan anything for you, and nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal or insurance advice or an offer of services. Every picture on the site was generated. The enquiry form genuinely works: what you send arrives as an e-mail in the mailbox of the team that built this demonstration.

Woodside Keelwick Planning, LLC is the name of the fictional practice this website describes.

Nothing here is advice

Everything on this website is general description. Advice is personal: it depends on everything about your household, which this site does not know and never asks. A page here can tell you what a planner would look at; it cannot tell you what to do.

Nothing is sold or paid for here

No payment is taken on this website. A real practice sends a bill with the agreement it comes from, and is paid by check or bank transfer.

The fees this website publishes show how a practice built this way would charge. Nobody is charged them here, and no fee table on this site is an offer.

The enquiry form

The enquiry form sends your name, your contact details, how you would like a reply, a topic, the office or video and a preferred time by e-mail to the mailbox of the team that built this demonstration. This website keeps no copy.

What a real practice holds, and this one does not

In New York, a practice that is paid to advise people about investments must register as an investment adviser: with the New York Attorney General's Investor Protection Bureau, or with the SEC once it manages $25 million or more. Each of its planners must also register and pass a securities law exam or hold a qualifying certification. This demonstration practice is fictional and holds no registration of any kind.

You can look up any real adviser, and the people who work for it, at adviserinfo.sec.gov, the SEC's public database, which covers advisers registered with a state as well. A real practice gives you its name exactly as it appears there; this demonstration practice will not be found, because it does not exist.

The pictures

Every picture on this site was generated, and none has a person in it: no client, no planner, no hand. No picture shows a chart, a screen, a figure, money, a certificate or anything anybody could read.
